Bases we serve
The Filing for Freedom program – which provides free, complaint tax preparation to military members and first responders in partnership with numerous state CPA associations, numerous bar associations, and the American Bar Association, offers these services for the 2025 filing tax season at eight (8) locations. The type of service each base offers is indicated by Virtual (V) or In-person (IP) services (or both).

- Military: Dobbins Air Reserve Base
- First Responders: Atlanta Department of Corrections, Atlanta Police Department and Atlanta Fire & Rescue Department
How Filing for Freedom works
The Filing for Freedom program is designed to be straightforward and easy to follow. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your date and time. You will also be advised of any documents you need to upload or bring with you.
*Active Duty and Reserve E-8 and below only, and all deployers and their eligible family members. Must have military ID.
