Filing for Freedom is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit program that provides free, compliant tax preparation services for military personnel and first responders, who sacrifice so much for all of us and for their communities. Filing for Freedom provides these services only for specific locations and military ranks. Our tax preparation services are conducted with the help of volunteers, who are made up of CPAs, Attorneys, and others, who are certified tax professionals. What We Do
In partnership with numerous state CPA associations, numerous bar associations, and the American Bar Association, Filing for Freedom provides free, compliant tax preparation services to military families and first responders.
Our trained and IRS VITA certified volunteer tax preparers, made up of CPAs, Attorneys, and other certified tax professionals, provide the following services
